I moved to Englewood in 1980 and Gejos was in my office park. Loved loved loved their Margaritas - you only needed one! Don't know if they still have them but they were the perfect drink with the area's best pizza!

Amy Adams just mentioned you on the Jimmy Kimmel show - that her dad used to play guitar there. (She doesn't think you are open anymore - you'll need to send her an invitation to visit next time she is in town!)

My husband and I started going to Gejo's when Bert first opened at this location. We were regulars there every week. Even after we moved to Chicago, we would go to Gejo's everytime we were in Denver. Our kids only knew Gejo's pizza, and even though we've been in Chicago 20+ years, we have never found a better pizza. So glad to hear Gejo's is back, and timing is perfect. We will be in the Denver area later this week!

Most definitely welcome back. I did service work for Gene, Joe, Carl and Angie at their restaurants (and homes) back in the 80's, became very close friends with the entire family, saw Gene move to Iowa and open Gejo's On the Lake and Joe sell his place that turned into Lefty's. Merry and I moved to California in the mid 90's and we have thought about you all frequently. Nice to see tradition moving on to a new generation. Good luck boys, you have a great thing going. Miss you all.

I was one of the original employees of Ge-Jo's IV (and Joe Galasso hired me) and I worked on Ge-Jo's opening night in Feb 1979 and through summer 1983. I've lived out of state since 1988 but we've visited CO every year since 2005 and always came in for dinner. Very sorry" IV" closed a few years ago but glad to see Ge-Jo's is back and we will be too in July! Can't wait.

Joe- I have thought about the Galasso family over the years and was glad the Jane Kinnaman sent me the picture at her aunt's 90th event. Hope all of you are well! My best years will always be my GeJo years!

First went to GeJo's in the late 80's while in high school, and even though I lived in Castle Rock, my friends and I would venture up to GeJo's all through high school, college, and later on- it was a treasure for us then and so glad you are back now! Took my son there the other night- terific food! But please bring back the scallops and spaghetti in butter sauce- there was nothing better!
